As I enter the third and final trimester of my pregnancy, I am now experiencing new pregnancy discomforts like I urinate more, I am always thirsty (Thirsty + Pee = Frequent trips to the toilet [then repeat]), it’s hard to sleep at night as I still don’t know which sleeping position that will give me a good night sleep, however, I always make sure to sleep on my left side (foetus position) as this position will improve the blood flow and nutrients to the placenta.

I stopped sleeping on my back because it is the most uncomfortable position for me lately and I read that I should really avoid it because my uterus lies on the back and the other major organs. I also experience shortness of breath with this position. I swear I miss Freefall position so much.

I see my OB doctor once a month but now she asked me to visit her every two weeks starting next Friday, and she advised me to take my Caltrate Plus vitamins twice a day whenever I don’t feel like drinking my glass of milk.

Occasionally, I get bleeding gums, which sucks! Major! Also, swelling ankles but thank goodness, it goes away when I sit down and put my feet up and put a document management software book or a pillow under them.

The baby is fine. Loves to move all the time. Squeee!
