I spend most of my Internet time by going through all the feeds, which were added on my Google Reader (If you don’t use Google Reader and exit signs, use them now!). I find it easier to read from one blog entry to another than visiting them one by one using multiple tabs. Also, I get to avoid hard-to-load graphics/layouts of a blog or site when using it.

I usually add a star on or like or share my favorite entries so I can go back and read them again.

This dish, Chicken Asado, which I recently discovered was from my favorite kitchen diva-blogger who loves sharing jokes and loves sharing her love for Del Monte products. I have been following her blog for a year already.

So yeah, at last, new food! I took a photo:

It looks yummy, no!? It’s tasty too. You should try it. It’s so easy. lol. Here’s the instruction on how to cook it plus the ingredients. I added all the ingredients mentioned except for the Del Monte Sauce Sulit Tomato Sauce with Sarap Liver Spread as Robinson’s Galleria Supermarket doesn’t carry it. Can’t find it or I was just blind. lolol. So I bought the original flavor.

Christmas Shopping 2010

Went to Robinson’s Galleria and Megamall this afternoon and saw a sea of people having their medical assistance program jk. I haven’t started Christmas shopping and now I can imagine the horror.

This Christmas, let us all avoid to eat up your time at the department stores that everyone will be buying at. Their prices go up during the season and it just makes it more difficult for everyone to shop all together. My big challenge would be how not to rot another amount of time shopping for gifts that are too high-priced, and begin finding gifts that everyone loves without emptying my purple wallet entirely.

I came from a very large family where everybody comes along pretty well, and this means many relatives to buy gifts for. How do you organize and spend? I ask this because it helps to know that you will be able to get hold everything you need under budget and that everything will be surprisingly inexpensive when you are done.

Divisoria has been making history during this type of economic depression by offering really cheap items. However, it’s pretty difficult for me to go to Divisoria or even Quiapo. Just scary. lol. Some people think that it may be unusual to shop at these places, but the truth is that many people can only afford them, and it is beginning to become less and less of an issue right now.

Christmas is in essence the time for giving and it is linked to be a blessed time so do not let financial trouble stress you out to a point of you are going crazy already. It is always the thought that counts and everyone will be thankful for anything that they get. Younger kids are always truly simple to please because the smallest and most meaningless (lol) things can please them the most sometimes.

My renewed EON card

Is your EON card already expired? Follow this guide:

Go to any branch of UnionBank
Surrender your old EON card (Be sure you have jotted down the old card number at home especially if you have an EON CyberAccount as this number will be asked when you decide to replace the old card by the new one via their website (see photo below)

Bring 150 Pesos
After 5 days or so, call UnionBank (the branch where you applied) and ask if your card is ready for pick up
Go to UnionBank and bring your valid ID.

The new card is not activated yet and you need to wait for a couple of days. Call Customer Service at 8418600 for confirmation. The new card has a new card number but its account number remains the same. You are just going to renew the card and not the account.

And yay my new EON card will expire after three years. They added a year! Happy me!

How to bring back your old nail polish

Dry, Thick & Sticky nail polish bottles

I was about to throw these half-used bottles of nail polish when I suddenly experienced this light bulb moment and asked myself: Why not resurrect them and make them usable once again?

The idea of throwing them made me realize that I was also about to waste my money, so I went to eHow.com and searched for some tips on how to revive these dry, thick and sticky nail polish bottles.

Things you will need:

Your old nail polish
Acetone

Steps:

Open the bottle and add enough amount of Acetone. But it is all depending on nail polish’s thickness. (Please guess estimate na lang!)
Put the cap on and shake well. Set aside and wait for few minutes.

Your old nail polish is ready and fresh once again! Try it!
