In my opinion, smoking is not sexy but there is something about it. I am unsure if the majority of my readers smoke but maybe those people who really smoke think that smoking is cool and sexy despite all the health problems that can happen.
Maybe it is one of those things where the image and the fantasy of it is very attracting, while the reality of it is really dangerous. We can blame some movies, where some scenes glamorized smoking and the smoker simply seethes sexuality.
So would you date a woman that smokes White Owl cigars? Heh.
I smoke, and am more comfortable around other smokers, but I would never, ever call smoking sexy. Enjoyable, yes. Addictive, you betcha. A bonding tool? Yup! But not sexy.
I agree with what Sam said, never felt a bit sexy when I used to smoke. It’s a hard habit to break that’s why we have support groups and education when you choose to cease smoking. You’ll be amaze how one smoker could strike a conversation by just asking a light for a fag.
