In 2008, Velvet Channel aired the Charmed’s episodes from Season 3, when the time I discovered about it, there was an instant urge to watch it everyday. However, I did not know, which season they were airing but I am definitely sure, it reminded me of my younger years. Nukz.
I was very disappointed that Velvet Channel did not continue the series. After the last episode from Season 3, they re-aired the first episode all over again. So I kinda forgot about it, stopped checking the channel in a daily basis, and moved on.
So later 2009, I started to download using the mighty Bittorent program and torrented, one by one, the episodes from Season 4. I discovered that this season was the time I stopped watching the series way back in late 1999 or early 2000. I am unsure, maybe I was busy with school or they stopped airing it locally. The only thing I knew that time was that Prue (the eldest sister) had to go and she had to die in the series, it happened on the last episode from Season 3.
I just found out from one of my friends in Twitter that she’s watching Charmed on Velvet Channel, and Piper (the second sister) was having a baby. I was like, “Oh, Velvet is airing new series, huh?!”
So just recently, I already finished watching the whole season 4. I am on the first episodes from Season 5. But guess what? I am starting to download the whole Season 1 now — I need my safety glasses for the awful special effects of the ’90s. lol. In fact, I saw the first episode from Season 1 just last night. And I am not even sure if I actually saw it during the time it originally aired 16 years ago.
’90s. Good stuff. I tell ya!
