Who doesn’t like to have white underarm here? We all love it. However, at least once in our life time, we, women, get some problems about having awful black underarm. I’m here to help you out in a more inexpensive way.
Avoid using too much deodorant. I know. It’s going to be impossible not to use any deodorants or antiperspirants since the first day we have entered the puberty stage, but this is one of the biggest reasons why you get black underarm. I just want you to realize the fact here. As far as I know, there are no deodorants available in your favorite store that could whiten your underarm.
I’ve been using an alternative. It’s out in the market and it’s called, Milcu. It is an underarm and foot deodorant powder. It costs 40.75 pesos only. But sad to say, if you do perspire a lot, specially, if it is so hot and you are outside of the house, Milcu will not be able to handle it.
I still would recommend you to use your favorite deodorant. Don’t freak out, I also use antiperspirant/deodorant if I really need it. I just have to make sure at the end of the day, I wash my underarms thoroughly. You might want to buy Glutathione soap. I’m using the one with the red X, white box. You can buy it at Watson’s. It costs 120 pesos.
Oh btw, I posted a picture. That’s me. Unphotoshopped underarm. lol. If you have some questions, just let me know. Or if you also have some tips to share, post them away. I would love to try them out but be sure it’s no expensive. I don’t have a budget for laser thing or whatever. lol.

carla, maybe just don’t overdo the plucking and shaving. They can really darken. Personally, i did ~not~ stop doing them.
I don’t know if your body perspires a lot pero give the milcu a shot, bili ka muna kahit ung maliit lang and let’s see if it works.

Hello gaby, it costs roughly $.90 to $1. I am not sure if this Milcu is available in your place though.
hi agen.. i want to try underarm waxing because ders a parlor here that offers waxing and its not that xpensive so i want to try it, if i try this will the dark spots on my underarm would be gone? tnx

i tried using skin white for about 2 months now. My bff said it helps lightens my underarm skin but not the odor – if u sweat a lot. So what I do is made sure to clean my underarm and put deodorant at least 4 times a day. I know it’s a drag but… it helps.
i have dark underarms and i’ve tried almost EVRYTHING from lemons to papaya, to sugar to salt scrubbing to kojic acid soap, to glutathione, to deo whitening products. NONE of THEM worked! i am so desperate ive been on this problem for the past 15 years!
I have tried MILCU and it never works when you are the sweaty type like me. I smelled like onions in the middle of the day dammit!!! So I dropped the Milcu coz I dont want people talking abt an underarm smell in my cubicle!
so I had to try GODIVA unscented – doesnt work too!
I discovered this multiply site which sells underarm peeling set using Green peeling oil. I bought the product and will try tonight. Hope it works! coz if this doesnt, dang i dont know what the hell to do with my PITS!
@beeny, since u sweat a lot there is a non-prescription — prescription strength deodorant like Certain Dri and Secret. Try those it might help.
I’d like to add something here I know this is for black underarm prevention discussion only but if u know anyone who needs help about BO in w/c they tried every deodorant known to man with no avail — u might wanna ask them if they have bacterial infection. Coz u see I know someone who have that same problem and one day her doctor prescribed her antibiotic for other medical reasons and that medicine helps get rid of her armpit odor.

Hi Laarnaay, I just bought some Milcu for my underarms but have not received it yet however before it arrives I want to make sure I get the current deo residue off my UA, any suggestions on a good way to get rid of built up deo residue? Also I noticed your UA are very smooth, I have what they call chicken skin (looks like a bunch of folds or wrinkles not smooth) how can I fix that will Milcu help with that as well?

I would suggest that every time you go to sleep, wash your underarms with soap. Do that regularly.
As for chicken skin, avoid shaving as much as possible. Waxing is the best option I can give you.

my underarm doesnt sweat but if i dont put on deodorant it will have bad odor, esp when i had just eaten foods with raw onion like burger, i started using deo 13 yrs ago which caused my dark underarm, but i cannot not use deo coz of the smell. i tried milcu but it did not eliminate the smell as if i applied nothing. right now, i am using dr.kaufman like i used to use before, and before i towell i put on more than a pinch of baking soda then damp dry with towel, its been 15days since and im satisfied, i bathe twice a day and wash my under arm at the middle of my work hours. have to this to avoid deo and bad odor. matrabaho,but no choice.

Margaret, grace: I’d say waxing helps to whiten the armpits. I’ve done that for a year at most, my underarm did lighten. Now I’ve gone back to shaving…
jo, the more frequent you have it waxed, the longer gap your next waxing session will be. In my case, the first few waxing took about 3 weeks for the axillary hair to grow (long enough for the waxer to wax) again. However, for swimmers like you, you might consider laser hair removal treatment. It’s gonna be quite costly (P1K per session if my memory serves me right, just check out local salons for their rates) but it’ll be permanent. No more fuss!

I’ve switched to all-natural or organic products like Alba Botanica deo stick, Human Heart Nature roll-on and, finally settled on, All Organics’s deo spray.

Just wanna ask about that underarm too.. before di masyado maitim underarm ko but ive noticed na lang since pagkapanganak ko maitim na sya as in saka til now try to think what to do para mapaputi ulit pero di parin… even i scrubbed it every bath but ayaw na ata

My family has used Milcu for years, and it never created a problem for us. Actually, I never perspire in the underarms if I use Milcu. And my friend, who has had problems with her excessive sweating tried Milcu and she said that it’s effective.

it has been a year since i posted here, well nakaka one year nako ng “baking soda” ginagamit ko pero hindi parin pwede itaas kamay na ma e expose UA ko. kailangn ko tlga ito ipa doktor religiously kung gusto ko pumuti. un ate kong maputi trinay din baking soda instead ng deo MABISA daw tlga against odor kaso sabi nya nakaka darken,swerte nya kasi sya un tipo ng tao na pag inistop un ganun e bumabalik sa puti UA nya.,hopeles nako dito.
