Just thought I would share the results of my latest ultrasound, which was taken last Monday. This was the second time I got to take a glimpse of the baby. I am 24 weeks pregnant now!

Ultrasound Report (Pelvic):

Live

Singleton

In Breech Presentation

Active Fetal Movements

Heartbeat: 152BPM

Estimated Fetal Weight is 643Gms (1lb 7oz)

Adequate Amniotic Fluid Volume (4.2cm)

Placenta Posterior High Lying Gr I-II

The baby is still in breech position meaning its feet or buttocks are close to my cervix. However, the ultrasonologist assured us that it’s fine and the baby is still moving/rotating so we don’t need to worry about that. My placenta is located at the back (posterior) near the spine, which is normal.

Baby’s arms, hands, legs, feet and the vital organs were also checked. Hunny counted the baby’s fingers and toes and they’re complete! harhar.

Ultrasound (Pelvic) costs P725.00
Clinica Manila, SM Megamall

My nose in 23 weeks, time to call the debt collectors. lol.

I know there is a lot of body changes during pregnancy and that includes facial swelling but I am so glad that my nose has not changed since I found out that I was expecting. Been taking photos in a daily basis because I think I can see the difference fast on pictures.

No major change except for my uterus and breasts. It’s difficult to eat a lot as my stomach easily feels tight, no pain but it’s just tight. I guess my organs have a little space now since I have this growing baby inside me and my skin continues to stretch.

Talk laters.

Just like almost everybody thinks, my OB doctor also thinks that I am carrying a baby girl. She was like, “Blooming ka!” lol. I am scheduled to get Glucose Challenge Test (GCT) on Monday. Good luck to me.

One great reason that I haven’t started shopping for maternity clothes (and water pumps) is because I still can fit with my pre-pregnancy clothes. It’s crazy, I know. These pictures that I am going to show you were taken few weeks ago. See the date below each photo and some additional details.

Taken on Aug 15 / 19 weeks & 3 days. The black dress was gifted by one of my sisters in law last Christmas. It’s from Forever21. First time to wear this dress since I got it.

Taken on Aug 21 / 20 weeks & 2 days. I believe I purchased this teal dress in 2009. I was rummaging my closet and saw this neglected dress. It’s from Bayo in size 2.

You can take a good look of my baby bump especially when I wear a tshirt and when you look at it from the side. My tummy is heavier now and the quickenings happen everyday.

Check out my milkmaid braid hair, guys! I got the idea from one of the newsletters that talk about fashion that I am subscribed to. The tutorial was just in text so I had to consult Youtube and voila!

My first attempt was actually a mess because I was supposed to lift my whole hair but since it’s just impossible to pull it off with this thick hair of mine, I had to partition my hair in half.

Btw, this is me in the morning. Without makeup. loleeeek.

Last Tuesday’s trip to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) was successful. Big thanks to today’s DFA’s awesome appointment system as requesting for new passport is incredibly easy and very convenient. Check out their website, click here, for more info.

Hubby and I set up an appointment last January. I picked the “Family” option so we can go together on the day of the appearance, which was last Tuesday at 10AM. We reached the place around 9AM, and we followed the very big signs that they provided, and waited for our turn. All in all, there are three steps to get a passport for the first time:

Presentation of your documents. I showed my old college ID, my transcript of records (TOR), birth certificate from NSO, and marriage certificate from NSO as I would like to use my hubby’s surname. hihihi.

Pay at the cashier counter. Since we were not really in a hurry, we just picked the regular processing, which costs me P950.00. (20 days).

Photoshoot. The woman asked me to remove my pair of earrings and my headband, and asked me not to show my teeth when I smile in front of the camera before she took my passport photo.

Since I don’t want to go back to DFA to get my passport, I paid P120 for Air21 to deliver it, which will be shipped on April 10. This is optional, btw.

Required Attire for DFA Passport Appearance
As far as I know, there is no required attire. Just be presentable.

Got questions? Shooot!

I always take time blow dry my hair especially when I go out. My hair is just eeky and heavy when it’s wet so I give 30 to 45 minutes to dry it. Tremendous work, IKR.

I went out with my comic book artist hubby to attend some signing event at the Comic Odyssey last Saturday. It was past 2pm when we took off. So I took a shower around past 12 noon, did my makeup for like 15 minutes, I guess. And blow dry for like 30 mins. Sometimes I shuffle my rituals like, I blow dry first then makeup. But the catch is when I blow dry first, I get sweaty. lol. I told my hairstylist about this before and he laughed at me. So I should turn on our AC to prevent the sweating, huh? I have a portable blow dryer in my closet but I really don’t use it as it just doubles up the time I spend on drying my hair, so I really need to stick with my heavy-duty dryer. lolol.

At the event, I said hello to friends and familiar faces and after few minutes I went out and left Hunny with his friends for a while. It was so hot inside of the store so I thought of checking out Best Seller’s to read a couple of books. So geeeek.

The book introduced me to frazzled customers. Frazzled means physically or emotionally exhausted. It basically talks about on how to deal with them. I did not actually know they existed so I thought it was good and was an eye-opener. I was able to read another book but I was sleepy (let’s blame the pixie, please) already so I went back to the store.

Then I dragged hubby to Megamall to meet up with my Plurkmates. I am very visible and very active on my Plurk account so I thought of organizing a mini meet up with them. A couple turned out, which was good, btw, as I really like small crowd. Intimate.

DVD Marathon last Sunday with my friends who love Hanson here in our unit. We were supposed to watch 5 DVDs but just finished 4. It was actually tiring. lmao.

That’s all!!! How was your weekend!?

PS. Don’t mind the uneven skin tone. I am aware. lol.
